AZACS Online K-12 School
AZACS offers a one of a kind Online School for grades K-12 that specializes in meeting the needs of students on the autism spectrum. The AZACS Online School emulates the AZACS in-person educational models. This program offers a digital learning environment with live teachers to support students at all levels of the autism spectrum. The AZACS Online School offers three programs to meet the needs of students at all levels of the autism spectrum; the Academic Program, the Modified Academic Program and Functional Academic Program. - Students complete grade appropriate, engaging lessons with access to tools that support learning including text to speech, audio and translation, text and picture dictionaries and more.
- Students engage with their Online Teacher throughout the week and attend small group and 1:1 sessions, as scheduled.
- Students in grades 6-8 have access to Online Teachers and tutoring on a flexible schedule and complete digital courses in English, math, science, social studies, fine arts and electives.
- Attending the Online K-8 school requires strong collaboration between parents, caregivers, and the AZACS education team.
- Team collaboration will focuses on students’ IEP goals and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help students overcome behavioral and communication challenges to be successful in the digital learning environment.
- All programs are supported by speech therapists, occupational therapists and behavior specialists if those services are included in the student’s IEP.
- Student services include student clubs, field trips, science fair and community events scheduled throughout the school year.
- The parents/guardians sign a Learning Coach Agreement, outlining attendance and participation requirements as their child’s learning coach.

West Valley Hybrid Learning Program
The West Valley Hybrid Learning Program provides students in grades 6-8 in-person learning and online learning.
- The Hybrid Learning Program provides three days on home-based virtual learning and two days of in-person learning at the west valley campus.
- Students meet on their assigned days from 8:30 – 1:30 p.m.
- They Hybrid Program mirrors our in-person schools offering assigned teacher and small group instruction.
- Students participate in STEAM learning projects, social emotional learning and collaborative group work while on campus.
- Students have independent work and assignments to round out their instruction in the digital learning environment where they connect through Zoom with teachers and peers.
