AZACS Online School
AZACS Online K-12 School specializes in serving students on the autism spectrum in a digital learning environment with live, dedicated teachers. Our online program brings the same instructional models, therapeutic support, and community that define our in-person campuses into a flexible online setting that meets students where they are.
One school, three programs
Every student is different, so our Online School offers three programs designed to meet students at all levels of the autism spectrum. Your child’s team helps determine the right fit.
- Students complete grade-appropriate, engaging lessons with built-in learning tools, including text-to-speech, audio and translation, and text and picture dictionaries.
- Students connect with their online teacher throughout the week and attend small-group and 1:1 sessions on a set schedule.
- Coursework spans English, math, science, social studies, fine arts, and electives, delivered through digital courses with teacher and tutoring support on a flexible schedule.
- Instruction is grounded in each student’s IEP goals and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), helping students work through behavioral and communication challenges and thrive in a digital setting.
- Speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists support students whose IEPs include those services.
- Beyond academics, students take part in clubs, field trips, the science fair, and community events throughout the year.
A true team effort
Our Online School works best when families and the AZACS team partner closely. Each parent or guardian signs a Learning Coach Agreement outlining attendance and participation expectations in their role as their child’s learning coach. This collaboration between caregivers and our educators is central to every student’s success.
Two campuses, one experience
Our Online School operates as two campuses based on grade level. The day-to-day experience, teachers, programs, and support are the same across both — the distinction simply determines which campus your child enrolls in:
- Online Elementary Campus — Grades K-8
- Online Upper Campus — Grades 9-12
Both campuses are headquartered at our AZACS Online location in Phoenix.
